Furious Pig was primarily an instrumental band formed in school when we were teenagers. We evolved a unique percussive acapella vocal set [initially out of rehearsing our instrumental pieces vocally in the van on the way to gigs] that burst quite brightly onto the Post Punk New Wave Art Rock scene, first in our home town, Totnes [in Devon, England], then London and other parts of England, the BBC’s John Peel Show, and later in Europe.
